This policy describes the cookies set when you use offertown.net and when you interact with Offertown referral links and integrations on partner websites. We do not use advertising or cross-site profiling cookies.
Cookies on offertown.net

| Clerk session cookies (e.g. __session, __client_uat) | Authentication — keeping you signed in securely. Set by our authentication provider, Clerk, when you sign in or sign up. Strictly necessary for the signed-in experience. | Session / up to 1 year |
Cookies on partner websites

| offertown_wp_ref | Referral attribution on a partner’s own website. If a partner installs the Offertown tracker script, visiting the partner’s site through a referral link stores the referral code in a first-party cookie on the partner’s domain, so a later purchase there can be attributed. The cookie never leaves the partner’s site except to attribute a conversion. | 90 days |
Partner websites are operated by the partners themselves, and the partner is responsible for disclosing this cookie in its own cookie notice and obtaining any consent its jurisdiction requires.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the authentication cookies will prevent you from staying signed in; deleting the attribution cookie before signing up means the person who referred you may not be credited.
